1. Why do people advertise on Sizzled.com and what services do you provide to them?

Sizzled offers people a cost effective method of displaying their properties online. We like to keep it simple, so there is one form of subscription. However this doesn’t mean a lack of features - you can display six property images whilst also having the ability to manage multiple listings, receive enquiries, statistics and show a calendar of availability.

2. I’ve found a villa that I like the look of. Do I book and pay online?

No. The purpose of our site is to display the properties on behalf of the owners. Therefore all dealing is done between yourself and the property owner, so feel free to haggle!

3. I’m interested in advertising my property on your site. How do I go about doing this?

The site has been designed to be easy to use and as automated as possible. Just click on the Add Your Villa" link on the home page and follow the instructions. Once you have done this you will receive confirmation and your property information will be sent to us for approval. We will then optimise your images and email you back to either confirm that your property is live on the site, or to suggest improvements which you could make (i.e. better quality images).

4. How much does it cost to advertise a property on your site, and how can I pay?

We have two prices –

  • £39.00 subscription if you pay via Paypal and choose for it to be renewed automatically.
  • £49.00 if you choose to renew your subscription manually.
In either case you get the first six months free.

5. I’m about to add my property to your site. Is there a maximum size for images I’m allowed to upload?

No, but it is advisable to keep these to a reasonable size (e.g. 5 Meg). We at Sizzled download your images and a graphic designer optimises them to ensure excellent presentation.

6. Do you have any tips for what photos of my property to display, and how to display them?

We currently have a limit of six images per property, and as the owner you will know the main property features which sell it. Remember that you could always email more images to a prospective renter at a later date, so try to stick to the six images which really make your property look special.

7. Who do I contact if I have any technical problems with the site?

If you have any issues with the site or managing your villas please email support@sizzled.com with the details. We guarantee to respond within 24 hours to all emails.

8. Can I make changes to the advert for my property once itrsquo;s been listed?

Yes - the management system allows you to make changes for all your properties listed at any time.

9. Can I advertise more than one property at once, or do I need to register each one separately?

When you list your first property you are given a log in to the system. This will allow you to view your property information, stats and any enquiries received regarding your property. You can also add new properties to the same account and have your portfolio in one place.

10. Are payments I make secure, and do you store my credit card details?

We use Paypal as our payments provider and therefore we never have any access to your payment details.

11. Will I receive a receipt for any payments made to you?
